Transamerican Auto Parts Returns to SEMA with “Life is Better Off-Road” Builder Award
Award to Recognize a Truly Capable Off-Road Vehicle at 2017 SEMA Show
Transamerican Auto Parts is a world leader in aftermarket parts for off-road vehicles, and they truly believe in getting out there and conquering the earth—4x4 style. This philosophy is the principle behind the “Life is Better Off-Road” award, which will be presented for the third year at the 2017 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The award will be given to a builder who not only demonstrates excellence in design and fabrication, but presents a fully functional off-road truck, Jeep, or SUV.
Last year’s winner, which can also be seen on Dirt Every Day Episode 57: Alaskan Army Truck Adventure, was a ’41 Dodge Power Wagon dubbed “Bootlegger.” Daystar’s 720hp truck is both a beautifully crafted machine and an incredibly capable 4x4, separating it from the hundreds of submissions in the 2016 SEMA show.
This year, entries are open to all builders and manufacturers participating in the SEMA show, and will be judged by a panel of leading 4x4 authorities. Past judges have included off-road champion and action sports icon Brian Deegan; legendary off-road fabricator Rick Geiser; off-road champion and personality Casey Currie; motorsports media personality and fabricator Bill Caswell; along with respected automotive journalists Sean P. Holman and Craig Perronne.
In addition to the trophy presented at the 2017 SEMA show, the winner of this year’s award will receive recognition from national off-road media channels, and will be invited to participate in Transamerican Auto Parts sponsored events and tradeshows.
