Those in the market to beef up the performance of the family-haulin’, large ’n ’ luxurious 2018 Lincoln Navigator are in luck: Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) has got your back. The Texas-based aftermarket tuner company, which modifies hundreds of vehicles each year, claims to be the first to offer performance upgrades for the new Navigator.

“The 2018 Navigator is a world-class luxury SUV, and we wanted to take its already impressive power and performance to the next level,” said president and company founder, John Hennessey. “Over the past 12 months we have built and delivered hundreds of VelociRaptor 600 upgrades to our new Ford Raptor clients. It made perfect sense to offer a similar upgrade package for the new Navigator, which has essentially the same engine.”

The 2018 Hennessey Navigator, equipped with the company’s HPE600 upgrade, elevates the factory twin-turbo 3.5L V-6 power ratings from a respectable 450 bhp to an eyebrow-raising 600 bhp at 6,000 rpm. That extra 150 hp helps the souped-up, sassy six-cylinder lay down a 0-60 acceleration time of 4.8 seconds (that’s just half a second behind the 575hp Range Rover Sport SVR) while attacking the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds at 107 mph. The extra horsepower bump is achieved through airflow and engine management changes, including a high-flow air induction system, a turbo wastegate modifier, an air-to-air front-mounted intercooler and piping upgrade, a cat-back stainless steel exhaust system, and engine management computer software upgrades.

The 150hp boost comes with the confidence of professional installation, dyno testing, extensive road testing, and a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty before the customer drives off into the sunset. And of course, the vehicle receives the Hennessey touch—embroidered headrests and exclusive serial-numbered interior and underhood plaques. Hennessey plans on limiting the number of Navigators it customizes, making it an elite option. Orders can be placed directly with Hennessey or through authorized dealers.

For some extra cash, 22-inch monoblock wheels, front and rear Brembo brakes, and a lowering kit are available. Speaking of cash, bring plenty: Hennessey’s magical touch will set you back $19,950.
