Team Truck Trend is Hitting the Road With Nissan for the Great Titan Meat Up
Root for Us as We Vie for Meat-Smoking Supremacy
Truck Trend is hitting the road with Nissan and the Smokin’ Titan mobile barbecue next week for the Great Titan Meat Up, a competition with some of the best smoked meat (and the best chefs) in the country. The Smokin’ Titan will make a few stops along the way before arriving in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, for the Great Titan Meat Up on April 28. If you’d like to see the Smokin’ Titan in person, head to Roaming Buffalo BBQ in Denver on April 21, Q39 BBQ in Kansas City April 22, Salt + Smoke BBQ in St. Louis April 23, and Central BBQ in Memphis April 24.
Team Truck Trend, which will be preparing a smoked brisket for the competition, will go up against Team Nissan (featuring company execs Billy Hayes, Brian Maragno, Tiago Castro, and Kevin Yeoh) and Team Nissan Canton—Randall Jenkins and Jerome Staten, two employees at Nissan Canton Assembly, the plant that builds the Titan and Titan XD.
Teams from Internet Brands; PickupTrucks.com; AutoGuide.com and Off-road.com; and Annie A to Z and healthyfatchick.com will join in the fun, smoking chicken, turkey, lamb, pork, and ribs to compete with Truck Trend’s famous brisket. And judging each team on the merits of its meat will be Chef Cory Bahr, runner-up of Food Network Star season 13, and Chef David Rose, contestant on Food Network Star season 13.
