Ram Unveils Heavy Duty Longhorn Rodeo Edition
Just in time for the State Fair of Texas, Ram is unveiling the new 2018 Heavy Duty Longhorn “Ram Rodeo” Edition. Available in a 2500 or 3500 model, the truck features a luxurious interior along with a Southwestern theme. Ram focused on hauling and exclusive class trailer-towing features.
The Longhorn Rodeo Edition comes with a fifth-wheel gooseneck trailer prep package and bed-view camera, providing owners a factory solution to view the hitch point for heavy duty trailers during hitching operations. The Longhorn Rodeo Edition also features Ram’s exclusive rear air suspension technology for expert load leveling for hauling loads or towing trailers.

The exterior of the truck includes design upgrades such as body-colored bumpers and side steps. Special Longhorn badging stretches across the tailgate. Several colors are available that include RV Match Walnut Brown, Brilliant Black Crystal, Bright White, Pearl White, Delmonico Red and Granite Crystal Metallic. The inside of the truck is luxurious with a suede headliner available in Black and Cattle Tan. Unique features and design cues can be found throughout the inside of the truck.
The Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition is available in Crew Cab and Mega Cab, 4x2 and 4x4 configurations. Engine packages range from standard 6.4L Hemi V-8 or an optional 6.7L Cummins turbodiesel I-6. Pricing for the 2500 model starts at $60,790 and the 3500 model starts at $71,260.
