2019 State Fair of Texas – 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition and Heavy Duty Night Edition
“Factory Custom” Packages Add Dark Accents and Wheels
The luxurious 1500 Limited Black Edition starts with Ram's highest trim level and adds a few styling features to the posh pickup, mirroring what's found on the already-announced Big Horn and Laramie Black Editions. That includes a dark-finished grille, tow hooks, exterior badging, headlamp bezels, door handles, and mirrors, along with black-painted 22-inch wheels.
The Black Edition also gets a sporty accessory hood and standard tonneau cover. Available with two- or four-wheel drive and powered by the 3.6L Pentastar V-6, 5.7L Hemi V-8, or 3.0L EcoDiesel V-6, this example of the Black Edition starts at $53,690, thanks in part to the Limited's long list of standard features.
For those who need (or want) big-truck capability, Ram will also offer the Heavy Duty with dark-accented exterior bits. Available on the Big Horn and Laramie is a Night Edition package, which includes a black grille insert with a body-colored surround, black badging, and black 20-inch wheels. That is, unless the buyer wants a dually, in which case the Night Edition gets Ram-first black 17-inch dually wheels with machined pockets. Available on the Ram 2500 and 3500 crew cab, in two- or four-wheel drive and powered by either the 6.4L Hemi V-8 or the 6.7L Cummins I-6, the Heavy Duty Night Edition starts at $37,995.
