Truckin’s SEMA 2019 Mid-Size Mania
Not-so-Mini Trucks have strong showing at SEMA 2019
It seems like every few years, a new model pickup that has been updated or redesigned is fully embraced by parts manufacturers and the accessory options become plentiful for that truck. This year, the new Ford Ranger is having a comeback to the truck market and because of that long-awaited return; they can be spotted scattered around the 2019 SEMA Show. With the popularity of Overland style trucks, there are dozens of exhibitors pulling out all the stops to show off the multitude of products available for every lifestyle or adventure. In the Ford display area, there are multiple Ranger pickups in various styles including a lowered TJIN Edition in bright yellow to grab plenty of attention.
It's not all Rangers though. The Chevrolet Colorado along with the Toyota Tacoma are in direct competition with the newest Ford offering and there are several standout trucks at SEMA from those brands. We've spotted a few Colorado trucks with Lingenfelter power plants as well as the impressive Edelbrock Supercharged version if you have a heavy foot. There are also several Tacoma pickups scattered around the show; from the race-ready truck owned by Brad DeBerti to the Icon Vehicle Dynamics Toyota with their Stage 10 Suspension System.
So whether you're into weekend adventures, mashing down on the accelerator to go fast or just having a nice truck that isn't a massive full-size, the 2019 SEMA Show has many options on display and manufacturers clearly have given the Mid-Size market some extra attention this year.
