2020 Jeep Wrangler JPP 20 Limited Edition: Accessorized to the Max!
Have Jeep; Will Check All Boxes
It comes as no shock that Jeep owners love Jeep accessories, and in fact, that's what the 2020 Jeep Wrangler JPP 20 Limited Edition is all about. Need proof that Jeep owners are an interesting breed when it comes to fiddling with their rides? A statistic provided by Jeep attests that the Wrangler is one of the most accessorized vehicles in the world, with more than 90 percent of owners purchasing at least one accessory. That's entirely believable; when was the last time you saw a stock Jeep? Like, what's wrong with that Jeep? Oh, I think it's just stock. Yeah, weird. It's probably new and parts are on the way.
The four-door 2020 Jeep Wrangler JPP 20 Limited Edition is a Mopar-fettled factory offering making its debut at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show. It celebrates the accessory-crazy nature of Jeep owners by showcasing a plethora of off-road Jeep Performance Parts—that's the JPP portion of its name. The JPP portfolio includes more than 200 factory-backed, quality-tested parts and accessories tailored to the off-roader, which can be installed by Mopar Custom Shop technicians following factory production.
While the JPP 20 doesn't include the whole catalog of JPP options, it's certainly a check-all-the-boxes specimen. Here are the main JPP components on the 2020 Jeep Wrangler JPP 20: steel tube doors, mirror kit, mesh sun bonnet, rock rails, steel front bumper, skid plate, Rubicon Winch with 100 feet of Warn Spydura synthetic rope, graphic decal on the passenger-side quarter panel, laser-etched forged-aluminum JPP badges, swing gate hinge reinforcement, CHMSL (center high-mount stop lamp) relocation kit, and JPP logos on each front seatback, to name a few. All of this is installed near the Toledo factory line before it heads to a dealer.
As a little bonus, purchasers of the Jeep Wrangler JPP 20 receive an exclusive owner's kit that includes some sentimental swag but most important, a customer credit that can be used toward dealer-installed JPP goodies including a two-inch lift kit, a choice of light kits, or wheel and tire sets. The 2020 Jeep Wrangler JPP 20 will be available in Ocean Blue or White and can be ordered with the 2.0L turbo four, the 3.0L EcoDiesel, or the 3.6L V-6 engine offerings. All are all backed by the standard TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
Production of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler JPP 20 is limited to the 2020 model year and will be available this summer—just in time for blue-sky overlanding adventures.
