2022 Infiniti QX55 Pricing Announced
Provacative new crossover coupe offered in three trims, starting at $46,500 MSRP (base model).
Infiniti has announced pricing for its 2022 QX55 crossover, the new, soon-to-be-released small SUV that succeeds the company's popular QX50 and is designed to compete with BMW and Mercedes-Benz SUVs in the segment. Per a recent press release, the 2022 Infiniti QX55 arrives in U.S. dealerships in April and will cost $46,500 (MSRP) for base models.
Unlike its predecessor, the new Infiniti 2022 QX55, which actually debuted as a concept in 2017 at the North American International Auto Show, is equipped with Infiniti's Intelligent all-wheel drive, now a standard feature for its Luxe, Essential, and Sensory trim levels, along with other treatments that were optional in the Infiniti QX50 (wireless Apple CarPlay compatibility, 20-inch wheels).
The 268-hp 2.0L turbocharged I-4 is retained as the vehicle's lone powerplant, along with a continuously variable transmission (with paddle shifters on the steering wheel). And in addition to the aforementioned standard features, the 2022 Infiniti QX55 Luxe is also equipped with a power-sliding tinted glass moonroof, ergonomically designed heated front seats, dark aluminum interior trim accents, active noise cancellation, and active safety features that include forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, predictive forward collision warning, high-beam assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. A fast 4G LTE connection that offers Wi-Fi connectivity for seven devices is included, as are a drive mode selector and Infiniti's dual-screen InTouch system with 8-inch upper and 7-inch lower touchscreens that put entertainment and information at the driver's and front passenger's fingertips during the ride.
Starting at $51,600 (MSRP), the 2022 Infiniti QX55 Essential adds InTouch navigation, leather-appointed perforated seats, climate-controlled front seats, an Around View monitor with moving object detection, heated steering wheel and Bose Performance Series premium audio with 16 speakers.
QX55 Essential is further complimented by a ProAssist package, which enhances the rig's standard features. ProAssist includes cube design LED headlights, an adaptive front lighting system, and additional driver-support features such as Intelligent cruise control, distance control assist, blind-spot intervention, and lane departure prevention. A ProActive package features traffic sign recognition, Direct adaptive steering, and a head-up display, along with the innovative ProPilot Assist system that supports the driver with steering assist and Intelligent cruise control with full-speed range, stop, and hold.
At the top of the 2022 Infiniti QX55 lineup is the Sensory grade, which spares little and starts at $57,050 (MSRP). Sensory models are equipped with all of the features included in Luxe and Essential, and inside adds supple semi-aniline leather-appointed seating (in Monaco Red and Graphite), natural open-pore wood trim accents, tri-zone automatic climate control, a motion-activated liftgate, and stunning interior ambient lighting.
On the exterior, the 2022 Infiniti QX55 Sensory is available in eight colors that include Majestic White, Liquid Platinum, Graphite Shadow, Mineral Black, Black Obsidian, and Hermosa Blue. Two standout shades are offered: Dynamic Sunstone Red and Slate Gray.
Infiniti says the arrival of the all-new 2022 QX55 crossover coupe begins an overhaul that signals an exciting new era. An all-new 2022 Infiniti QX60 three-row crossover joins the fray later in 2021, and several other new products on the horizon.
