We had a lot of fun at the dragstrip last weekend...

Not only did we meet our goal of running low 8's in the eighth-mile with our '97 F-350 (and eclipse our target horsepower goal of 550 hp by making 555 hp on the dyno a week before), but we were able to line up next to this Roush 427R Mustang. This was our 8.04-second pass at 84 mph, and a .0450 reaction time is a best ever for the OBS Ford (the Mustang ended up going 8.83 at 72 mph, missing a shift and letting out near the end).

Full Disclosure: in a case of what goes around comes around, later that night we got our "you know what" handed to us by a new Shelby GT500 Mustang running 7.50's.

Like I've always said, your diesel will likely never be the fastest thing at the track, but I can almost guarantee you it won't be the slowest. I'm really glad I got into drag racing over the last year and a half. It's a blast!
