AccuAir Relaunch Questions Answered

Parent company Arnott Industries reveals future plans.

Oct 22, 2020
When we reported on the relaunch of adjustable air suspension gurus AccuAir, we only had their Instagram post and press release to glean information from. While we were happy with the general fact that there would be a future for AccuAir, we still weren't sure exactly what that future would look like.
Well, it was like magic that minutes after we published our last story, the new AccuAir sent out a link that answered a whole bunch of the question marks that were surrounding the story. We've listed them for you here.

Is AccuAir Back?

The short answer is sort of. Arnott, LLC purchased the assets of AccuAir out of the bankruptcy and will be reviving the brand as a new company with a mix of classic and new products. We expect to relaunch the brand and products in 2021. So while some of the AccuAir products are returning, AccuAir will be returning as a new company, in a new location, with new staff. Arnott's long history (over 30 years) of engineering and manufacturing replacement OE air suspension systems for cars and motorcycles is a great fit with the AccuAir brand and product.

Where Is the New Company Located?

In Merritt Island, Florida.

Will My Existing RMA, Order, or Inquiry Be Filled?

AccuAir Control Systems, as you knew it, no longer exists. Arnott purchased just the assets of AccuAir through a private foreclosure sale, and it is now a brand-new company. Everything that was in process and unfulfilled prior to the bankruptcy was handled through the foreclosure proceedings and is separate from the new company.

The Bankruptcy Court Never Contacted Me; Can You Help Me?

Unfortunately, we have no connection to the foreclosure proceedings.

Will Any of the Former AccuAir Employees Be Working at the New Company?

Yes! A small number of support staff have joined the team in Florida

I Had a Warranty Claim/Gift Certificate/Credit on My Account; Can You Honor It?

When Arnott purchased the assets of AccuAir through a private foreclosure sale, that did not include legacy obligations like warranty claims, gift certificates, or account credits.

Is My Warranty Still in Effect?

While existing warranties are no longer valid because Arnott purchased only the assets of AccuAir through a private foreclosure sale, we will be providing technical support for existing customers and products through tech@accuairsystems.com. In 2021, when shipping resumes, service parts for returning products will be available. However, we will not be producing service parts for discontinued products. Please stay tuned for updates on any additional customer support programs as they develop.

Will the Quote You Gave Me Still Be Honored?

All requests for quote will need to be resubmitted to the new company. Please include your contact information in an email to support@accuairsystems.com.

Do Dealers Need to Go Through a Formal Process to Get Set Up with the New Company?

All AccuAir dealers will need to have a new account established with Arnott. For dealer inquiries please send an email with your contact information to sales@accuairsystems.com.

How Will This Change in Ownership Impact Me?

It will be positive! With the resources and support of Arnott, the future of AccuAir is exciting. There are some new products on the horizon and improvements to classic products are being planned. We now have access to more technical support staff available to take calls and help customers, the potential for fewer backorders, and reduced lead times—all benefiting our customers.

Will Service/Quality Policies Change?

Yes, but they will only improve for our customers. Arnott prides itself on extensive testing and high-quality standards, including maintaining ISO-9001:2015 certification. We are committed to supporting our customers, existing and new. The exact practices for how we will provide warranty support are currently being determined.

Are You Going to Release the e-Level Plus App?

Yes, the app needs some final improvements and will go through the approval process for both Android and iOS. It will take some time, but we are planning to release the app before products begin shipping in 2021.
So, in summation, some of our favorite products will return and be improved or expanded on, while discontinued items will no longer be supported. And if you're a business, you will be starting from scratch, so it's best you just think of AccuAir as the brand-new company that it is. And sorry to all the proud Cen Cal folks, operations will be moving to Cen Flo (is that a thing?) with a very small number of returning employees. We'll be sure to let you know if any more info pops up!
