I finally got around to replacing the broken window regulator in the Jeep over the weekend...

 And it was a lot more "involved" than I thought it would be. However, the Steiger Performance fix I sourced to solve the problem (once and for all), came with highly detailed instructions to guide me through what wasn't self-explanatory. As mentioned in the link above, Chrysler doesn't sell the plastic piece on the regulator that breaks, only a complete new regulator ($$$). This metal bracket is the fix, and the metal spiral is what the window cable screws into, vs. the factory spiral being plastic. Even though it took several hours out of my Sunday afternoon football schedule, it was worth it, and I'm sure I can pull off the job quicker next time. And, there will probably definitely be a next time...One window down, three to go!
