Ford is Bringing Custom Escape, Explorer and Expedition SUV Concepts to 2019 SEMA Show

Ford Motor Company has always been known for showcasing cool, extreme, and wild builds at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. For 2019, Ford is making no exception with at least seven of its SUV builds, ranging from Expedition, Explorer, to Escape concepts.

The Urban Ford Escape built by Southern California based LGE-CTS Motorsports features Baja surf and turf. The vehicle has an aggressive stance with Eibach Performance springs and 20-inch TSW Petrol P6A wheels that sit on BFGoodrich T/A Sport Tires. Its mean sound comes from a custom Borla cat-back exhaust to complement the 2.0L EcoBoost engine. Roof crossbars straight from the Ford Accessories catalog were installed and paired with a Yakima mount. Perfect for mounting the surfboard!

Air Design USA built a 2020 Escape Sport Hybrid with a two-tone Sherwin Williams paint job. The vehicle features 20-inch Forgiato Flow 001 wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires. Black fenders accent the vehicle along with door rocker moldings and silver skid plates. The interior is built up with a Ford Accessories cargo organizer, cargo mat, and floor liners. Did we mention the vehicle also has a built-in refrigerator for all of the essentials on your next road trip?

Mad Industries also went with the 2020 Ford Escape model. The vehicle was equipped to haul your gear around—including two roof-mounted bicycles. The vehicle sits on 21-inch OZR wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. The Escape was painted with a custom BASF RM paint. Inside a Rockford Fosgate audio system makes any road trip fun.

Blood Type Racing built a sustainable exploration Ford Explorer Limited Hybrid. The vehicle received a half-inch suspension leveling kit and a Ford Performance suspension skid plate. The vehicle sits on 20-inch Ace Alloy AFF09 black chrome wheels on Toyo Open Country A/T 2 off-road tires. It has a Borla cat-back exhaust system to complement the 3.3L hybrid V-6 engine. Black chrome was added to the front grille and rear bumper along with door handles and lower door moldings. Finally, up top are two custom BTR edition snowboards by Blank Snowboards.

CGS Performance Products turned to the 2020 Ford Explorer ST for its build. Borla cat-back exhaust was added to this build along with 24-inch Savini Wheels on Pirelli P-Zero tires. The vehicle was painted in a sleek gray. Red accents were added along the roofline and side skirts. Inside, the vehicle was wrapped in a custom Alea Leather, making for a lavish, comfortable ride.

Good Boy Daisy Lifestyle built a 2020 Ford Expedition Limited MAX painted in a very loud blue paint scheme. This vehicle is all about sound and looks. It features a Whipple EcoBoost Stage 1 induction kit with a Borla exhaust. A Rigid lightbar is mounted on the bumper. The wheels are 24-inch Forgiato. This vehicle also features all of the technology. It has Zoom Q8 cameras and Sennhieser mics, along with a QSC TouchMix 8 digital mixer for capturing all of the adventures on the road. The vehicle was designed to transport up and coming musicians to their next gigs.

Finally, the MAD Industries Ford Expedition Stealth can be found in the SEMA Ford booth. A Yakima SkyRise rooftop tent makes this vehicle part road warrior, part overlander. It has an EcoBoost air induction system with Icon Dynamics Stage 2 coilover suspension. Nitto Ridge Grappler tires provide traction on the road or the dirt. An Adapt 50-inch lightbar by Rigid Industries lights the way.
