Is the oversized exhaust tip craze dying out, or will it always be part of the industry?...

Over the years, we've seen some obscenely oversized tips and stacks at various diesel events. For the most part, the fad seems to be brand blind, as we've found them on Rams, Fords, and GM's. Does a massive exhaust outlet show one's sense of humor, or do they show how truly committed some owners are to the "bigger is better" mindset that seems to run rampant in the diesel industry? And, why did this trend gain so much traction? Maybe it's due to the exhaust system being one of the (if not thee) most modified components on the modern diesel pickup?

Don't lie. Is your diesel sporting a larger-than-life tip (or stacks) like the ones pictured here?
