New Jeep Commercials Features Unreleased Michael Jackson Music
Summer-Themed Campaign Includes 2014 Wrangler Grand Prize, USO Support
Although pop star Michael Jackson is no longer with us, his musical legacy lives on, with an upcoming album being released in mid-May featuring unreleased music recorded throughout his career. One of the songs off the album Xscape, "Love Never Felt So Good," is the soundtrack for a series of Jeep commercials that will be shown throughout the summer 2014 season. The ads feature the brand's Altitude-edition models in different settings, including the beach, outdoor basketball courts, and a nighttime soccer game illuminated by headlights.
The multimedia campaign includes social media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Jeep owners can upload photos to Instagram using the #jeepsummer hashtag to be eligible to win a grand prize 2014 Jeep Wrangler Altitude. For each photo uploaded with the designated hashtag, Jeep will donate $1 to the United Services Organization as part of its long-standing support of the veteran's nonprofit.
Jeep is also partnering with USA Basketball and will be a sponsor of USA Basketball exhibition games throughout the month of August. In a nod to the Jeep brand's international expansion, "Summer Fans" features scenes showcasing the flags of Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina, showing soccer fans rooting for their national team. You can watch the three ads below.
