Lucky you, this video find is a twofer. Today, we present the introduction and testing segments of our Truck of the Year event in video form. Four contestants, the Ford F-150, Dodge Ram, Suzuki Equator, and Hummer H3T are vying for the title -- not to mention the sweet set of golden calipers.
We performed our testing at Chrysler's Arizona Proving Grounds which stands as a dedicated truck development facility. There, we conducted our standard gamut of performance tests, as well as acceleration at 75% of towing capacity. Afterwards we took each vehicle around a special off-road loop, which allowed us to experience the differences between vehicles from surface to surface.
