"Biggus Truckus!" exclaims copy chief Jacqueline Manfredi, who piloted the Chevy Silverado for a long weekend. "But fun," she adds, noting that on a freeway drive down to Long Beach the Silverado was able to "impart a sense of safety and height, and forward and side visibility from that perch is excellent." Moreover, Manfredi appreciates "the great big chevron turn indicator lights in the sideview mirrors and the legible instrumentation," but doesn't "get the audio controls" and finds the storage unit between the front seats to be "a pain," as "it folds up and back out of the way, but then the cupholders are gone."
