"I have a love/hate relationship with the RDX's stiff suspension," notes online associate editor Rory Jurnecka. "I like the way the firmer setup makes the RDX feel somewhat sporty and agile, but it gets a bit old after 30 miles on L.A. freeways. Should Acura have opted for a slightly softer setup? Maybe. But at the RDX's price point, I would have preferred a compromise-an electronically adjustable two-mode setup with 'sport' and 'normal' settings. While a sport mode in a CUV may seem presumptuous, it could work in this particular vehicle. I wouldn't want the RDX any softer when hammering down a twisting back road or freeway on-ramp, but it would sure be nice to have a suppler ride for long highway jaunts." At just over 24,000 miles, the RDX went in for its fourth maintenance visit, a $164.51 oil change, inspection, and tire rotation.
