"Behind the wheel, the Borrego feels more like a compact SUV than a full-size," opines assistant Web producer Carlos Lago. I could parallel park the Borrego with ease, thanks to the helpful backup sensors, which don't seem as overprotective as some of the competitors'." Lago does yearn for a more demonstrative Tau V-8. "I wish the engine had more of a commanding tone. This is a decent-size V-8 with ample power, but it settles into this unwavering and disappointing hum. Give me some growl! Fortunately, the audio system is robust and iPod integration works well enough, though it forgets some settings -- like random play -- after you've shut the car off."
