With 22,500 miles on the odometer, the Borrego went in for its third maintenance visit, a $56.94 oil change, inspection, and tire rotation. Assistant Web producer Scott Evans logs, "The Borrego's turning radius never fails to impress me in a parking lot. The fact that a vehicle this large -- with 4WD no less -- can turn as concisely as it does is worth praising. There's a downside, though. The power steering assist is slow to react to changes in speed, which made some low-speed turns unpleasant, as the steering felt almost completely unboosted and extremely heavy." Evans adds, "Kia made a good choice contracting with Infinity for its audio system. The sound is good, and the user interface on the nav/infotainment head unit is one of the best in the business."
