"Big as an aircraft carrier, comfortable as a palace." Art director Mike Royer's description of our 2010 Truck of the Year is how most everyone on staff feels about the huge truck. The ride is smooth and the cabin quiet, and it really isn't until you have to park in a structure or in a narrow space (or parallel park) that you're reminded how large this pickup is. The Ram has been assigned numerous tasks, including moving duty-three staffers have already used it for this purpose-taking friends snowboarding, and going on a rock-climbing trip. The Ram performed flawlessly, but some wished Ram Truck offered a version of Ford's "man step" in the bed. There were complaints of glare off of the chrome trim on the center stack, but otherwise, the plush seats and excellent engine are ideal for long-haul treks.
