In the office, when we talk about what the Accord Crosstour is, you can see furrowed brows on the faces of everyone who is part of the conversation. Says associate Web editor Kirill Ougarov, "This is Honda's answer to the Toyota Venza, an Accord on stilts with an oddly shaped back."

And, according to senior photographer Brian Vance: "It's great for Accord loyalists who need all-wheel drive in the snowy states. In fact, I piloted one just like our long-termer during a Utah blizzard, and it was rock solid." But most here agree that the Crosstour is too big to be a wagon and too small to be considered a traditional sport/ute. When it comes to what the Crosstour does, though, it serves as a capable SUV alternative (read: crossover), like the Venza, and provides a comfortable interior. We've logged a couple downsides: It's a bit of an unexciting drive and it lacks rear visibility.

Since its reveal on Honda's Facebook page last summer, the Accord Crosstour has taken more than a little bit of flack for its, uh, interesting form.
