The Tucson continues to show its potential as a viable alternative to the ubiquitous Honda CR-V, what with its roomy interior, comfortable ride, and impressive fuel economy all wrapped in an attractive, affordable package. There have been some complaints about the Tucson's lack of power, but the crossover's 176 horses are comparable to that of the CR-V (180).
The Bluetooth controls work well, and many on staff agree with digital integration director Mike Floyd, who says, "One automaker doing a really nice job organizing its wheel controls these days is Hyundai, with our long-term Tucson's helm a case in point. This is a really nicely designed set of controls that have proven both simple and effective and rest roughly at the 9 and 3 positions, making it easy for thumbs to reach and operate."
