We partnered up with our friends at www.pickuptrucks.com to help out and watch this classic half-ton confrontation. But does that mean its final judgment will be the same as ours? Not necessarily. We picked out a few specific tests a third-party company performed and pulled out a few of our own. There were other tests performed and more data collected than we have the space to publish here. To see the rest in thorough detail and for more information and data, go to www.pickuptrucks.com and find out exactly how each test was structured and laid out, and who their winner turns out to be.

For all the attention that Dodge has gotten with its revised Hemi, and that Toyota got with the 5.7L iForce, few people realize that GM now has the most powerful engine available in a half-ton, the 403-horse 6.2. You'd think they'd be declaring it from the rooftops. Then again, there is that whole federal loan thing...and placating the hybrid-loving liberal politicians. Hmm...

After considering replacing my Titan this year with one of the redesigned models that just came out, I come to the conclusion while they are all fine trucks, They just haven't improved enough to impress me as much as my Titan has. Equipped exactly like my truck they all still get about the same mileage, the only way you save is if you get one of the fuel efficient models and you only save fuel if your not towing something, which is what I do alot of. I am intrigued by the new ecoboost engines and when ford offers one in the F-150 I'll take another look, but for right now I'm pretty happy with what I got
