I can understand why most people have bought the gas version of the GLK at my local Mercedes dealer.  Not only does it cost less, it's faster to 60, and for the 3 mpg more this report showed for this model, I'm not sure that's worth an extra $5-8 each fillup, besides the extra maintenance I found on the diesels.  I suspect gas engines are a bit quieter and less smelly too.  Still, there are a fair number of diesels around, especially lots of school buses here in Vegas.
