Our Take
Then: "The International Harvester Scout's almost in a class by itself. It's clean and uncluttered, so its exterior sneaks through the tall timber with astonishing ease"--Carl Isica, Motor Trend, March 1964
Now: It may be big, square, and slow with the four-cylinder, but the International Harvester Scout is undeniably cool. Its on-road temperament takes getting used to, especially when it comes to braking, but opting for the V-8 makes it a truck you could live with.
