#PTOTY20 – Meet the 2020 Pickup Truck of the Year Jurors!

Where’d Our Jurors Cut Their Teeth?

Chad Kirchner
Oct 24, 2019
This year's Pickup Truck of the Year testing involves the most pickups ever. There are eleven 2020 models vying to win the coveted award. As a result of the many trucks, many jurors are needed to evaluate and score all of the models.
We thought we'd take the time and introduce to you each juror and what they do. For a little extra flair, we asked each juror what their first pickup truck (or the first they dailied) was.

Neither of the freelancers havetowned a pickup in their lifetime, but they each have years of experience in the automotive space covering trucks. Each of these jurors are spending extensive time in each vehicle and scoring it on the litany of Truck Trend tests.
Additionally, two photographers and a support staff were brought on to make sure everything works out as expected.

This list contains some of the absolute best in the business when it comes to pickup truck knowledge, experience, and covering the industry. What you'll eventually see in print is hundreds of hours of work to determine which truck is the best truck for 2020.
Also thankfully, after spending a week together nobody caused bodily harm to anyone else on the team!
Stay tuned for final results sometime in January.
